Sinai Temple: School

When it comes to the school within Sinai Temple, it takes a standard approach to teaching, with some integrative activity. Elham Kashani-Rokh, a preschool teacher from Sinai Temple, offered a description of how the school integrates Judaism with school subjects such as math, science, etc. She gave examples such as: counting the candles for Hanukkah as math lessons and using prayers to distinguish between a fruit and a vegetable. When a question of importance arose, regarding how parents of different ethnicities get along with each other, Teacher Elham stated that there was no problem between the parents. Parents got along very well and often had get-togethers, or Shabbaton, outside of the school.
