Sinai Temple: Ideals
So what ideals does Sinai Temple wish to instill in its congregation? According to Rabbi Wolpe, “A love of Israel, a love of Torah, a respect for truth, and Ahavat Israel (meaning a love of the people of Israel), which is in some ways the most important value.” He went on to further explain what he means by a respect for truth: Jews have to live their lives with a respect for what people have achieved through hard labor and experimentation, and what science throughout the world has achieved.
