First and foremost, Shulamit gallery provides a space for artists to present and display their artwork for multiple weeks at a time. The community is able to inquire about events through a service that Shulamit Gallery provides called “Cheh Khabar,” which translates to “What’s New?” Often, on the opening night of artists’ exhibitions, the artists provide speeches, performances, and short film screenings. Additionally, there is a period of time designated for which the audience can ask the artists questions. Furthermore, Shulamit Gallery is involved in the Venice Art Crawl, where collaboration within the Venice community is promoted through art events and mixers. Within the Venice Art Crawl, Shulamit Gallery provides social events such as the Venice Art Crawl Mixer, which gives the community a chance to mix, mingle, share ideas, and enjoy the art. These mixers serve as social gatherings, featuring a DJ, wine tasting, and a welcoming environment to strengthen the creativity within the community.

Although artists’ exhibitions are the primary focus of Shulamit Gallery, they also offer a variety of seminars and classes for the community. The DIY Printmaking Class gives the community a chance to be exposed to a new technique with which individuals learn the basics of printmaking. The One Hour One Painting Seminar includes meditation, where they ask individuals to sit in front of a single piece of artwork for about an hour, which allows the participant to really examine what is being shown to them without preconceived notions. The artists are able to present their art and give the community a chance to take a close look at their pieces as well as the opportunity to purchase them.
