Boys Love Girls

The market developed an advertising campaign using the slogan "Boys Love Girls". 

By 1988, the business had grown into a chain of 54 stores and had created and maintained a solid identity.

The company was headquartered in Highland Park until 1988 when the chain was sold. Throughout six decades The Boys Markets built its growth on catering to Los Angeles’ many minority communities.
