Conclusion

Dream journal entry from 06/08/2012

I’m in my old high school building, Deering High School, together with my friend Pieter. I don’t know what we are doing there but I am intent on leaving and tell Pieter to call a taxi. We go outside and watch as a taxi pulls all the way up onto the steps. The taxi has a strange form – with a very compact rear end. A corpulent man sits in the backseat but is still able to reach the steering wheel. I am shocked that the taxi has driven over the grass to reach the steps and tell the man that it is not permitted. Still, I move to enter the taxi. When I do, I see a number of small dogs – dachshunds – blocking my way into the vehicle. As I move closer to the taxi I shout at Pieter to deal with the pack of dogs. I feel a rising annoyance and irritation with him. A sudden fear grips me: the dogs will soon attempt to bite my feet.
