INCITING INCIDENTS

It's funny, but his death has never made my list of things that set the ball of confusion in motion for me. It was fait accompli. The 



ANGER BALL



that I keep running from and dodging and sometimes being crushed by started chasing after me long before Thomas J. Wingate's actual expiration on January 10, 1975. By then, everybody knew he was finished already. 

What ultimately finished him may have happened long before I came along. But the events that set me into an emotional orbit I've been unable to shake completely happened in the order below. What order I shake them in, if I ever manage to, is to be determined.
