Tuesday Afternoon: Nostalgia
Held a long straight piece of driftwood. Walked
In deliberate slow circles making an even
spiral in the damp sand
My grandmother walks to my right
pointing out all of the dogs she sees
Tells me to never turn my back to the ocean.
