The Eugenic Rubicon

Poetic Engagements

We are continually experimenting with creative textual/visual ways of grappling with, understanding, and presenting the information in this sensitive archive. Poiesis is etymologically derived from the ancient term ποιέω, which means "to make". This word, the root of our modern "poetry", was first a verb, an action that transforms and continues the world. We are embracing the capacious sense of poiesis in our work here while also hewing to the generally accepted idea that poetry is a linguistic way of knowing. We will be continually updating this path as we make new work.
