in brief, i am a

            small show of a man.

     i have seen how my deceits glide like

smiles, for lovers’ sake,

          i am a tidy new

pervert; & for those who seek the content of these words:

              a sexual bounty penned in blood.

my dear lady,

      you can be the aging actress who has gotten her last check. 

    or the romantic antagonist of a romantic bore, 

                either way, you make up for the time spent in

that   room doing that lonely thing that i do.  too much about

me is a new york’s anger, but for that moment, i can pay a little money.

C’mon you sadistic bastard of a woman,

i am more focus

        than a poor man whom pokes around for bottles in devastated alleys. 

                         And! From the looks of it, girl you can use a job. 

although, i won’t be gentle,

this will be more like knocking over a fine glass of wine. 

        the better of my struggles.

O’!—America—for you, 

            i am a celibate man and these words—a poet’s fragments. If you knew

anything about the letter written in 1984, with the keen paper, perhaps i’ll

      love you more if we never met. i’ll love you like a man loves a woman he

 has  never kissed.

Have you everseen a newborn baby kill a grown man? That’s an analogy for the way you make technology react. This poem is about contextualizing the fate of technology. Giving technology humanlike characteristics. It is about the sublime. The content in this poem conceives a robust court towards a woman. Metaphorically, the woman represents the victims of technology. So the tone of the poem is aggressive, as if to seduce the victim. And this is the advancement of technology as Dave Eggers puts it:

ALL THAT HAPPENS MUST BE KNOWN.

The Circle creates an environment where as the campus is welcoming and the amenities are sufficient enough for an ideal place of work. The architecture of the campus draws the employees into the make of the company and it is safe to say that the structure sells itself to the employees. Lets not forget about the dormitory life at a corporate office or corporate parties that out do the likes of college campuses—The Circle is LIFE.

The Circle is not a hard sell and the technologies that the innovators create for this company are top notch, paramount subjects. The ALL THAT HAPPENS MUST BE KNOWN aphorism first appears on page 68, where Bailey introduces the employees to a new invention that displays a plethora of cameras in public places. He gets his employees to buy into this creation and the volunteers agree to film themselves 24/7 with the exception of bathroom privacy.

This creation is most similar to the recent creation by Facebook called Hello: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/04/22/facebook_hello_app/ 

The Hello app is a new creation by Facebook that allows contacts to identify with random numbers that contact them by adding a caller ID image to the number, even if the person does not have that number saved in their phone. This app basically allows you to access your Facebook contacts even if you don’t have their numbers. This app is the perfect example of The Circle’s network program. Once a person befriends someone on Facebook, he or she will be able to access private information from that contact: ALL THAT HAPPENS MUST BE KNOWN, in live practice.

The Three Wise Men are the founders of The Circle and the employees at The Circle treat these three employers with great respect. There are more than a billion people that have network accounts with The Circle and the network encourages the users to share all of their personal information just like the actuality of most social networks do today. The Circle also presses their employees to join the network as well so that everyone is able to access everyone’s information.

Dave Eggers novel is a social dystopia of David Orwell’s’ 1984. With all the different technologies and creations in this novel, one can’t help but become self-conscious about these creations; nevertheless, one can also appreciate the art of storytelling and wit by Dave Eggers. The privacy issues in this novel are prevalent in today’s society and they seem more crucial than ever before. The Circle, which has a “C” as its symbol seeks to close everyone into its system once everyone joins the network and once they join it, there is no getting out. This novel depicts the closest idea of our lives with the Internet.
