Trial of the Anti-Soviet Trotskyist Center

The victims of the Trial of the Anti-Soviet Trotskyist Center were accused of supporting Trotsky and opposing Stalinism. According to Alexander Orlov, a general in the NKVD, torture was used to get confessions out of the members of the second trial just like the first. Thirteen of the defendants were executed and the rest were sent to labor camps.
