How to Read this Essay
The table of contents, accessible via the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner, outlines my re-positioning of Sex and Caste. Those three pages give the broadest overview of the essay.
A longer route follows the "continue to buttons" that appear at the end of each page. Here I lay out a narrative interpretation of Sex and Caste in eight pages.
A final option is to hop around, throughout the project, via blue hyperlinks to pages within the project, which creates many connections, but also requires the reader to draw together the analysis.
Footnotes appear as pop up inside brackets at the end of sentences.
