You've reached Prudence Person's Scrapbook: An Annotated Digital Edition. This interactive site is the result of a collaborative digital pedagogy project begun by students in a Spring 2014 English 127 course at UNC Chapel Hill and completed in Fall 2014 by Meagan Keziah and Jimmy Zhang. The project is directed by Dr. Ashley Reed.

The digital edition contains JPEG images and detailed annotations for every page in the scrapbook. (The scrapbook itself is held in the North Carolina Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.) There are two ways to navigate through this digital edition: from front cover to back cover (as you would if you were reading the scrapbook in person) and thematically, with related pages grouped. You may choose your preferred path from the list below.

The digital edition also includes information about Prudence and the Person family and about the process of creating the edition. This information can be accessed by following the third and fourth paths below. (Note that all four of these paths can be accessed at any time from the menu in the left margin.)
