Entrance of the Shimabuji Temple

     Below is a picture of Temple 1 called Shimabuji. This is the entrance to the temple and has a , “low-roofed gate covered with Senja-fuda (pilgrims votive cards of wood and paper”(28 Enbutsu). The Senja-Fuda symbolizes their worshippers and was originally made out of wood.
