Biotic and Abiotic

Biotic = living

Biotic factors are the living parts of an ecosystem. In a marine ecosystem, for example, the fish, kelp, sea turtles, coral, shrimp, sea anemones, and sea stars are all biotic factors.

Abiotic = nonliving

Abiotic factors are the nonliving parts of an ecosystem. In a marine ecosystem, water, salt, water currents, volcanos, sand, and rocks are all abiotic factors.

Can you list the biotic and abiotic factors?
