General Remix Guidelines 2015
• Do: Aim for an average of 30 cuts per minute of video.
• Do: Aim for a short & tight video. (A 3 minute remix video can feel long!)
• Do: Consider shortening your audio.
• Do: Play with Final Cut’s audio transitions.
• Do: Think about how edits and movement coincide with your soundtrack.
• Do: Save your project regularly!
• Do: Consult your beta when you’re stuck.
• Do: Take breaks and get lost on YouTube or DIY 24-7 for inspiration.
• Do: Combine audio & video thoughtfully & with intent.
