About Lana

Actress Lana Lourdes was born on January 14, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. She developed a deeper interest in acting at a young age, upon participating in one of her school theatre plays. After graduating from high school, Lana went on to attend a performance arts school before landing roles in a variety of screen projects, primarily for TV. After auditioning several times, she landed one of the lead roles in the popular TV Show “Earl”.

Once she made her acting debut, more attention-grabbing roles from different character soon followed. Coupled with her acting skills, Lana Lourdes makes a perfect combination that is appreciated by the critics and the masses as well. The actress became internationally known for her big-screen role in the “Wee Hours”. Lana again gained notice in 2004 when she first appeared on Broadway, and received an award nomination for her role. Lourdes has been nominated for an Obi Award twice, for best supporting actress, and for best breakthrough. Since then she has appeared in several high-profile Broadway projects. During this period the actress keeps herself and the critics busy, appearing on the big screen, and on stage.
