Philosophy
A philosophical approach questions the true existence of things. It marks a deeper contemplation about the world. Key aspects are knowledge, value, reason, mind and reality. Following Kant's famous classification there are three fundamental questions philosophy is adressing (The Kantian questions):
1. What should I do?
2. What can I hope?
3. What can I know?
All together they lead into a fourth question:
4. What is the human?
Our modern understanding of the discipline of philosophy dates back to ancient Greece. However, we can assume that mankind has been thinking about their existence ever since. Therefore it is not an easy task to distinguish philosophy from mysticism and religion.
