Musician Fats Waller

Fats Waller was born in 1904 and became an influential American jazz pianist, organist, composer, singer, and comedic. It was his inovational Harlem stride style that led to the groundwork for modern jazz piano. Two of his best-known compositions are "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Honeysuckle Rose." He was posthumously inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in both 1984 and 1999. He passed away six months before his fortieth birthday.
