Who Should Get Registered Under GST
Those people who are running any kind of business and whose annual turnover exceeds Rs.20 lakhs (for northeastern states ) they need to register Under the GST rule.Required Document for GST Registration
- PAN card of the GST Registration Applicant
- Business Registration OR Incorporate certificate Proof
- Proof Identity & Address of the promoters with Photograph
- Address proof for the place of Business
- Bank statement Showing with Name, Address and Some transaction
- Class 2 digital signature for authorized signatory
Process to GST Registration with Simple steps
Any businessmen can get registered under the GST through the official website of GST via online-
- Firstly, you have to do GST Login. To do so, visit the GST official website “https://www.gst.gov.in/” and click on the Register Now button

- Then, you will see the new Registration form where you need to fill all required information such as select your taxpayer type, state, District, Name of the Business as mentioned in your PAN Card, Enter the PAN number, Enter your valid email address, Enter mobile number and at last click on the Proceed button
- After that, you will get the OTP on your phone and Email then enter the both OTP and click on proceed button
- Next, you will see you Temporary Reference Number (TRN) you can note down need to note down TRN number it will be used in next step and click on proceed button
- Now in this form, you need to enter your TRN number & captcha and again click on proceed
- Then, you will see the verify OTP form where you need to enter OTP which you received on your phone and click on proceed
- Now you can see the application status and click on edit option for further process
- After that, you will see the business details dashboard where you need to fill all business details and click on save & continue then you business details icon colour has been changed
- Next, you need to click on promoter/ Partners and fill all details such as personal information, Identity information, residential information, upload photo (maximum size 100 kb in JPEG format) and click on save & continue tab
- Go to the Authorized signatory and fill the details of the authorized signatory, Identity information, residential Address and upload the authorized signatory proof (maximum size 1 MB in PDF or JPEG) & photograph (maximum size 100 KB in JPEG) and click on save & continue. If you want to add multiple signatories then you can click on add new button
- If you want to provide the authorized Representative information then click on that otherwise skip this option
- Then, go to the principal place of business and fill the details of the principal place of business, contact information, Nature of possession and nature of business and click on continue
- In case you carry out business from multiple places similarly you can add the additional details of your business
- Now move on the goods and services option and provide the 5 basic goods name and click on save & continue
- Go to the bank accounts section and fill your business account number with the document such as the first page of passbook, Bank statement, and cancelled cheque having a name of Taxpayer. You may also add more than one account if you want
- In the state-specific information fill the state-specific information If you want else you can skip it
- At last, go to the verification section and fill the information and submit with DSC/E-SIGN
