Scaffolded Activities

You will be designing your entire module/unit, not just the major assignment prompt. Plan to develop at least four activities that scaffold towards developing the major project. They can be in-class, online, homework, etc. Your will submit your activity prompts in two parts:
  • student assignment prompt: write up the exact instructions/processes for the students
  • instructor information: describe how/why this supports the major project, write down any materials you will need or other considerations you might have.
Remember you may need to build in "learn-the-technology" activities as well. I suggest that you flesh-out a detailed module/unit plan with all of the activities you will do and then fully flesh-out/design four of them. Submit both for the assignment.

Discussion of "Scaffolded Activities"

Question

Last week in class, you asked us to postpone our draft of the Production Process Worksheet to this week (5 Nov.). Do you want us to bring the draft described in this schedule prompt, or the worksheet completed?
