Constance Fenimore Woolson: Her Life & Travels

Mission: Through this website, we hope to increase access and interest in Constance Fenimore Woolson's life and writing. This website provides annotated, born-digital editions of Woolson's work, side-by-side with her life of travel.  

Text Editing: For the texts mentioned (For the Major, Mentone, Cairo, and Corfu, etc.) we have begun with the Project Gutenberg copies, generated from the Internet Archive. The copy has then been checked for accuracy against the Harper & Brother's 1896 editions of the text, with annotations added when appropriate.
