Come to a Solidarity Day. Different activist and grassroots groups from around the Puget Sound and beyond organize solidarity days on Saturdays throughout the month to stand with the detainees and their families and show constant resistance to GEO and ICE. Become a Pen Pal, write folks inside.  This letter writing network aims to connect people inside and outside the detention center and broaden the movement to end detention and incarceration.  Building letter writing networks chips away at the isolation that people experience in detention, which is valuable in its own right and also perceived support from outside often helps protect individuals from being targeted or harassed. Sign up to write letters to folks inside the Northwest Detention Center.

Grassroots fundraising makes movements possible. Please consider making a donation to Northwest Detention Center Resistance. Donations are tax-deductible. Click here to donate.

Volunteer in other ways: Donating food/water/supplies, translating, coordinating events, data entry & tech skills, donating money, outreach, childcare, and more! Are you an artists that is interested in movement work to end deportations and detention?
