Auditoriums (1960s)

In addition to vernacular shows at movie theaters, actors and directors took advantage of auditoriums at schools and churches to present Spanish-language productions during the 1960s and early 1970s. The Milander Auditorium and Miami-Dade County Auditorium were the first to lend their stages to this community.  Directors also took advantage of auditoriums at Ada Merrit, Coral Gables, and Miami Senior High Schools.
