Woundom

(Wounded    +      Freedom)

  1. woundom: (noun) the strength and freedom one experiences when old world views are shattered along with the dull ache that resides in the chest.

My woundom has led to a heart with many cracks and fissures, but as each one heals, it allows me to be stronger and more compassionate. The woundom signifies a fully lived life, taking risks, being vulnerable, and taking the hurt that comes and releasing myself to go for it again. True freedom requires experience and knowledge of what it is to not be free and and to choose something else.
